Job Summary:
The Head of Compliance is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the compliance division, specifically in relation to candidate compliance. This includes ensuring that all candidates adhere to the relevant rules, regulations, and any additional contractual obligations required to meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Compliance Division Performance
- Monitor and manage overall performance related to candidate compliance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Issue Escalation
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of compliance matters.
Policy and Procedure Development
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist with updating policies to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Candidate Compliance Management
- Ensure candidates comply with all relevant rules, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct compliance checks and audits on candidates.
Regulatory Liaison
- Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports and documentation.
Training and Development
- Assist with organising and delivering compliance training programs for staff.
- Ensure ongoing professional development in compliance matters.
Internal Audits and Risk Assessments
- Assist with conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
- Assist with implementation of corrective actions and improvements.
Technology Implementation
- Assist with the implementation of compliance-related technology solutions.
Client Compliance Support
- Address compliance-related inquiries and issues from clients.
Brand specific duties
- Communication with Brand sales management.
- Ensure Team Leader reports regarding departmental activities are presented within agreed schedules.
- Ensure that Team Leaders escalate issues in good time.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience within the healthcare recruitment market, specifically within compliance
- Extensive experience in the healthcare recruitment sector with a focus on compliance, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry practices.
Senior Leadership experience
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams at a senior level, showcasing leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance and development.
Evidence of high customer satisfaction in previous positions
- Demonstrated success in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, reflecting strong client relationship management and service delivery skills.
Experience of using CRM systems
- Proficient in using CRM systems such as VDQ, Eclipse, and Now We Comply for effective candidate and client data management, and compliance tracking.
Excellent English (spoken, written, and comprehension)
- Superior command of the English language, with exceptional skills in spoken and written communication and comprehension, facilitating clear and effective interactions.
Strong MS Office, Adobe ability
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Adobe software, enabling efficient creation, editing, and management of documents, reports, and presentations.
